About the Owner

Nervell is a single mother of three year old son Rad. Rad has been involved at Starbrite since opening one year ago. He loves reading, singing, playing and dancing. Nervell has been leaving in the Houston area for more than 10 years. She is a native of the caribbean island of Dominica.

Nervell has been involved in childcare for most of her adult life and has a deep passion for children. She is extremely excited and happy about owning and operating her own daycare facility. She looks at it as giving back to the community by providing the safest, loving and caring environment for children to grow.

For Nervell being able to be connected on a daily basis with each child and their parents is one of her number one priorities. She is a hands on owner and manages the facility daily operations along with the center director and caregivers. She is the first one to arrive and the last one to leave monday through friday. Nervell's main goal is to keep her caregivers happy by providing support and necessary training to help them grow as caregivers. Nervell's main philosophy is "If your workers are treated with respect and consideration and good pay then you will receive greater productivity and in turn happy kids and parents."

Nervell is available 24/7 to parents as each parent will have access to her personal cell phone for any after hours needs and support.
